Chili Cook-off 2025

Come Out St Pete is honored to have been asked by the Grand Central District to take over the annual chili cook-off!

This year it will be March 1st from 1PM to 6PM, part of the unforgettable Mardi Gras Street Fair in the Grand Central District! 

Groove to live music, explore unique vendors, and delicious eats.

Bring your furry friends for the adorable Puppy Costume Contest at Mutts & Martinis, and cheer on your favorite creations at Come Out St Pete's Chili Cook-Off!

It’s a lively celebration of music, flavor, and community fun—don’t miss it! 

This is FREE to enter

Chili Cookoff Participant (Must Provide A Minimum Of 1 Gallon) 

 All chili must be available for tasting by 12:30PM to be eligible for the competition.  We will provide the cups, spoons and napkins.

 There are two categories of judging:

• 1) People’s choice: Patrons indicate their choice via chip drop. Voting closes at 5PM
• 2) Panel of Judges: Invited judges will blind-taste all contest entries by 4PM
• Voting will close at 5PM
• Prizes for peoples choice are $250 First Place, $175 second place & $100 for 3rd pace.  
• Prize for the judges choice will be a trophy for bragging rights. 
• Prizes will be given out between 5:30 and 6:00PM

Electricity is not provided.  Exposed flames are prohibited.  Propane and sterno are acceptable but no charcoal or fire pits.

You may bring a generator.  

 Space accommodates one 10’ x 10’ tent. Tents, Tables, and chairs are NOT provided. 

As every year, we invite you, the people who live in our neighborhoods to join the judging panel and add your taste buds to the mix! Bring your family, indulge in the savory symphony of chili and let's crown the champion together. It's not just about the cookoff, it's a celebration of shared moments, flavorful stories, and the warmth that comes from coming together. See you at the Chili Cookoff, where every spoonful is a vote for delicious memories! Voting will only cost $10 per person.

We will have a booth set up to get tokens. 

Our entertainment will be DJ Jayson Chancey!!!

Registration will end Feb 27th at noon for contestants.
